Local 13 Mourns The Passing of Nina Plonsky

Nina was with the Local 13 Annuity Office for many years. She will be missed by all who knew her and worked with her through the years.
Nina Plonsky - Irondequoit: Who went to be with the Lord on October 10, 2009, at the age of 55. Nina was born on October 20, 1953 and she was a graduate of Pittsford High School in 1972. She pursued a career in accounting until her retirement in 2006 from Local 13 Plumber Union. Survived by her husband Kevin; daughter Jeanette Burk; grandson, Dylan Duffy; faithful pet Rosco, other immediate relatives, Maria Reyes & Florence Sandman; siblings, Carmen Capo, Maria Angarano, Michael Gonzalez, Frank Gonzalez, Lisa Gerber, David Gonzalez, Alphonso Reyes, Julio Reyes, Nancy Strychasz, and John Sandman; Nina was a loving mother, wife, Nana, sister and friend who loved boating, walks during the fall, sewing, gardening and kept a great set of nails.
Friends may call Tuesday, 3-7 pm at the DREIER GILTNER FUNERAL HOME INC. 1717 Portland Ave., (at corner of Portland & Ridge Rd East) where a service will immediately follow calling hours at 7 pm. The Rev. Dr. Dana Goodnough will officiate. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society .
